She reminded us that grace is not passive—it is active and transformative in training us - teaching us to reject what is ungodly, and wait in hope for Christ’s return. Grace forms us not through striving, but through surrender. As we navigate life between the two appearings of Christ—His first coming and His return—may we remain steadfast, open-handed, and dependent. As we embark on a new week, may we continue to seek the Lord and pray into ways that we can - in our individual and life as a church community - be trained, humbled and renewed by God’s grace, that we may be ready for every good work.
